Google Enhances Chrome Browser with Three AI Features
Google has announced the addition of three new features powered by artificial intelligence (AI) to enrich the user's internet experience. The upcoming generative AI features are compatible with both Mac and Windows operating systems.
The search giant revealed its plans in a recent blog post, stating that users in the United States would get the chance to experiment with the AI features in the coming weeks. The company intends to roll out these features to users worldwide in a phased manner.
One of the new features focuses on simplifying the organization of multiple open websites in the browser. With the aid of the new AI technology, users can effortlessly create grouped tabs for websites of similar genres. By clicking on the right side of a tab and selecting the 'Organize Similar Tabs' option, Chrome will automatically generate group tabs, enabling users to launch the necessary websites together seamlessly.
The Generative AI Theme feature allows users to create AI wallpapers easily using 'Text to Image Diffusion' technology. This empowers users to select and apply multiple AI wallpapers based on their preferred colors or themes.
Another noteworthy addition is the integration of the AI tool 'Help Me Write,' which Google introduced at its IO conference in May last year. This tool, currently in the experimental stage, can automatically compose emails or messages based on specified subjects. Now, users can leverage this tool directly within the Chrome browser, facilitating quick responses to various questions, reviews, and feedback across different websites.
